Good Morning Standley Staff and =
Students!
=A0
Do you remember the Pasta =
for
Pennies fundraiser you participated in a few weeks ago?? Well, I =
thought
you would be interested in hearing how Standley did compared to =
other
schools in the district. There were a record 220 schools that =
participated
in this year’s fundraiser. With our help the Leukemia and Lymphoma =
Society
raised $296,000 for cancer research!! WOW!!
=A0 =
And guess what Standley students!?!?!?? Of =
those
TWO HUNDRED and TWENTY schools from San
Diego that participated this year in the
fundraiser guess where we ranked???? 8th!!! That’s right!! Out of =
220
schools, Standley raised the 8th most amount for Leukemia! That =
means 221
other schools in the district raised less than us…That is =
PHENOMINAL!!!
=A0N
You should be SO =
incredibly proud
of yourselves for what you did to help others who are less =
fortunate than
you. Start saving your pennies now for next year’s fundraiser!! =
